Teaching English in the Digital Age was created and is maintained by Karen LaBonte. Currently a doctoral student in English Education, Karen teaches about literacies and technologies in the secondary English classroom. She also coaches in-service and pre-service English teachers on writing instruction and using digital tools in their classrooms. She is interested in digital literacies, evolving conceptions of literacy and English, and the possibilities these may offer for curricular and educational transformation.
